This has been an exciting week for Kerem ’16! Kerem madrichim (counselors) delved into shavua hachanah (staff orientation week) with immense enthusiasm and excitement for this summer. The madrichim poured their hearts and souls into planning AMAZING activities for Kerem and also spent copious amounts of time choreographing their staff dance, which will be performed tomorrow night at Mock Zimriyah!
The excitement reached an all time high yesterday when the chanichim (campers) finally arrived after much anticipation, excitement, and planning. Last night, the madrichim welcomed the chanichim to Kerem through a series of activities, in which chanichim were tasked with the responsibility of addressing various “oh no!” situations, which they may confront as leaders of this camp.
Earlier today, the chanichim engaged in a variety of team building and ropes course activities at the Brown Center. The activities focused on cresting a unified bond between members of the aydah and helped instill a sense of leadership in the chanichim.
We are thrilled to have the full Kerem ’16 mishpacha (family) at camp and cannot wait to see what this summer has in store!
