Kayitz 19 Opening Week Kerem Blog

Author - Camp Yavneh

Hey parents of my adopted children!!

Welcome to the Kerem blog! I’m Ravi, Rosh Kerem as you all know by now. We have had an amazing few days, but I just wanted to highlight a few things from opening day. Kerem arrived on Sunday, but on Tuesday the rest of the chanichim arrived, and Kerem was tasked with helping unload cars, bringing luggage to bunks, and welcoming new campers to camp. They did an absolutely amazing job! I got so many compliments from people around camp about how sweet, helpful, and energetic your (my) children are. It really warms the heart.

The first few days of normal camp, we had Kerem’s best dance crew, a guacamole cook off, and a fun late night barbecue. There are a lot of special responsibilities too, and Kerem have already divided into several committees to work on tefilot (prayers), YFS appreciation, fundraising for the ARC run, walk, and roll (donate!), Zimriyah, Shabbat, and more. Your (my) children have been making me feel so proud. I can’t wait to see them as they take on even more responsibilities next week with Kerem Karnival and the 4th of July.

B’ahavah,

Ravi
