Today we would like to introduce you to two new members of the Yavneh staff – Cassie and Travis. Cassie will be joining Yavneh as a rosh drama and will be directing the camp musical in the second month. Travis will be in charge of the Etgar (challenge course). Cassie is an award winning Jewish Cuban playwright and stage manager with an MFA from Lesley University. And Travis has been an avid Obstacle Course Racer for the past three years. Favorite camp/outdoor activity?
- “The lake.” – Cassie

What are you looking forward to most this summer?
- “Being in the beautiful scenic environment and producing a play with a new bunch of kids!” – Cassie
- “Getting to introduce youth into obstacle course racing and seeing campers gain confidence while overcoming fears and challenges!” – Travis
What is the most unique item you are packing in your luggage for camp?
- “A white noise machine, for easy sleeping!” – Cassie
- “I can’t go anywhere without my toe shoes!” – Travis
