We are winding down our first session as we also finish our prep for Zimriyah. We have spent a lot of time working on Zimriyah and are excited for it tonight.
Monday night we played a clothing game. The chanichim were asked to go back to their tzrif (bunk) and put on as much clothing as possible. We gathered in the chadar ochel and split up by bunk. We gave categories of clothing, such as “red shorts” and the chanichim had thirty seconds to put as many of that type of clothing as they could on the table. They earned points accordingly. The evening concluded with the chanichim trying to put as much clothing on their madrich as possible. Everyone had a really fun time!
Tuesday brought more fun activities and Zimriyah practice. We watched the Kerem play in the evening, which was very funny. The play was about a baseball team.
Yesterday was trip day. We went to see Despicable Me 3. The chanichim all enjoyed the movie. After the movie, we had our first Zimriyah practice with the band. The practice went very well and we are getting excited for Zimriyah. We then had an extended free swim, which the chanichim enjoyed especially due to how hot it was yesterday.
We are super excited for Zimriyah tonight!
