Arrival, Departure and Visiting Day

Arrivals

**IMPORTANT NOTE:  If your child is sick at all on the first day of camp, please DO NOT drive to camp.**

Na’aleh

This summer, Na’aleh will be flying to Israel from Newark Airport in New York City. Na’aleh participants will spend the Shabbat before departure at camp. On Friday, June 24, there will be a bus from Hebrew College and another from the NY area. Participants will leave camp together for Newark Airport on Monday, June 27.  Participants will be asked to follow COVID protocols that will be outlined in the Na’aleh handbook. 

Kerem

Campers arriving by car will be assigned a time to arrive at camp between 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM on Sunday, June 26th.. We will be following strict protocols for camper arrival which will be explained in a subsequent communication. Parents and visitors are asked to remain in your vehicles.  There will be a bus from the NY area on Sunday, June 26th.  All Kerem campers will follow the same luggage procedures outlined above.  If your child is sick at all on the first day of camp, please DO NOT put the camper on the bus or drive to camp.

Session 1 and Full Season

Campers arriving by car will be assigned a time to arrive at camp on Tuesday, June 28th, between 1:00 and 3:30 PM. Please do not arrive earlier than your assigned time. We will be following strict protocols for camper arrival which will be explained in a subsequent communication. All campers will follow the luggage procedures outlined above.  Parents and visitors are asked to remain in your vehicles.  We will have a tour of camp for new camp parents at 3:30 pm – you must be pre-registered to join (please email tammy@campyavneh.org to register).

Session 2 and Kaytana Bet

Campers arriving by car will be assigned a time to arrive at camp on Monday, July 25th between 1:00-3:00 PM. Please do not arrive earlier than your assigned time. We will be following strict protocols for camper arrival which will be explained in a subsequent communication. All campers will follow the luggage procedures outlined above. Parents and visitors are asked to remain in your vehicles. We will have a tour of camp for new camp parents at 3:30 PM – you must be pre-registered to join (please email tammy@campyavneh.org to register).

 

Departures

Session 1

Campers departing by car should be picked up in camp on Sunday, July 24th between 9:30 – 10:30 AM. Departure protocols will be outlined in an email in early July. If you live in the Boston or New York City area, we highly recommend that you use our bus transportation.

KAYTANA BET – Monday, August 8th

Campers should be picked up in camp on Monday, August 8th between 9:30 – 10:30 AM. Bus service is not available.

Session 2, Full Season Campers and Kerem

Campers departing by car should be picked up on Tuesday, August 16th between 9:00 – 10:00 AM. All families will be assigned a time for pick up of your camper. Departure protocols will be outlined in a subsequent email. If you live in the Boston or New York City area, we highly recommend that you use our bus transportation.  All families and guests picking up campers by car will be asked to remain in your vehicles to allow for a smooth and efficient departure from camp.

Visiting Day
