Registration & Enrollment  Timeline

Confirmation: once you complete and submit your application, you should immediately receive an automated confirmation email. If you don’t get this email, we likely didn’t receive your application (please check your spam folder before reaching out).

Submitting an application does not automatically enroll your child. Enrollment is confirmed — and your deposit charged — once your application is processed on or after October 13th. We’ll send you an confirmation email upon enrollment.

New camper profile & meeting: parents of first-time applicants (including siblings of returning campers) must complete a new camper profile and meet with our Director of Camper Experience, Bentie Rabinovitch, before enrollment. You’ll receive a scheduling link after you submit your application.

Questions about the application process? Reach out to info@campyavneh.org or 603-942-5593.

Kerem: incoming Kerem applicants can apply starting August 12th along with everyone else, and enrollment is processed on the same schedule as all other campers. As our Counselors-in-Training, acceptance also includes a short additional step given the leadership responsibilities involved. Details will follow in a separate letter to rising Kerem families who apply.

Na’aleh: the Na’aleh 2027 application opens separately — we’ll share the exact date in the coming months.

Extending to full summer: if your returning camper would like to extend from a single session to full summer, please submit your application as soon as possible. We will process your October 13 deposit in accordance with session availability. Recent summers have run at full capacity, so opportunities may be limited.

Tuition & Payments

Deposit

$500 per camper for single-session enrollment (Session 1, Session 2, or Kaytana). $1,000 per camper for full-summer enrollment (including Kerem).

Deposits must be paid by Credit Card (no processing fee on the deposit) and are charged October 13, 2026, as part of enrollment. Once charged, the deposit is non-refundable.

Choose Your Payment Plan

On September 17th, when rates are published, you’ll be able to choose one of three payment plans:

Payment plan preferences from previous years do not automatically carry over. All families should please select from one of our three plans for 2027

Enrolling after some payment dates have passed: your balance splits evenly across whichever dates above remain. If fewer than two dates remain, your balance instead splits into two equal payments — one at enrollment, and one 45 days later or 14 days before your child’s session begins, whichever comes first.

Payment Methods & Fees

Deposit: Debit or Credit Card only, no fee.

Remaining balance: Credit Card (3% processing fee), Debit Card (No processing fee), or eCheck (0.8% processing fee).

Security Fee

We invest significantly in our security infrastructure and 24/7 security personnel while camp is in session in order to provide a safe and secure environment for our campers, staff, and community. A mandatory per-camper security fee applies: $125 for one session, $250 for full summer and Kerem campers — charged along with all other camp fees on May 3, 2027.

Financial Assistance

Thanks to the generous support of our donors and partner organizations, “camperships” help make camp affordable and accessible to all. Click here to find out more.

The Financial Aid application opens on September 17, 2026, and we aim to notify families of their award by the end of December.

Families who apply by December 1, 2026, will hear back on their campership by the end of December. While awaiting a decision, families requesting aid must select the Four Installments plan and are expected to pay only the deposit plus the first installment (November 16). Your final adjusted balance will be confirmed before the second installment charge on January 4.

Applications received after December 1 will get a decision within 30 days of submission. To ensure that Camp Yavneh will be able to accommodate your family’s needs for financial assistance, we strongly encourage all families to submit the financial aid application at the time of the standard camper application. After the initial application window, allocation of additional financial aid will be subject to available funds.

Other resources: local Jewish Federations, Jewish Family Services, synagogues, and rabbis (via discretionary funds) are excellent resources for camper scholarships. First-time campers may also qualify for outside campership funds (e.g., One Happy Camper, PJ Library) — check with your local organizations.

Please note: funds from synagogues, Federations, or similar outside organizations cannot be applied as a credit to your family’s account until Camp Yavneh has actually received the funds. Your account balance and payment schedule will reflect these funds only once they arrive.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to shore@campyavneh.org.

The deposit is non-refundable once charged on October 13, 2026. For the remaining balance, refunds are available on the following schedule:

If the campership we’re able to offer doesn’t work for your family and you’d like to cancel your child’s enrollment, notify us in writing within two weeks of receiving your campership decision, and all payments will be refunded

Reducing your child’s enrollment (for example, full summer to a single session, or single session to Kaytana) is treated as a partial cancellation. The refund for the portion you are dropping is determined by the date we receive your written request, using the same schedule above.

Protecting Your Tuition

Program Protector Plans, available from the United States Fire Insurance Company during registration, can protect up to the full cost of camp if you need to withdraw your child. Benefits include Program Cancellation and Interruption, Travel Delay, Medical Expense, Baggage, Baggage Delay, and more. An Enhanced Plan (not available in NY) adds Cancel For Any Reason coverage up to two days before camp. We strongly recommend purchasing one of these plans; the fee is paid directly to Trip Mate, Inc. upon enrollment.
