Transportation

Group Transportation To and From Camp

Camp provides bus transportation from the greater New York City area. Sign up for a bus by completing the Travel form. Buses fill on a first come-first served basis, which may be long before the May 1 deadline.

Camp provides pick up from the Manchester, NH, airport on opening day for a fee. Transportation is also available from Logan airport in Boston, MA, with approval in advance.

Bus transportation and luggage

Camp Yavneh offers bus transportation to and from camp for a fee. Campers may bring two pieces of luggage on the bus at no charge. Each camper may also bring one pillow and one carry-on bag (that would fit under an airline seat).

Friday, June 21, 2019 for Na'aleh

 

There are three options to get to Camp Yavneh on Friday, June 21:

11:00 AM – Van from Home Depot, 150 Midland Ave., Port Chester, NY ($100 fee)

11:30 AM – Bus from Hebrew College, 160 Herrick Road, Newton Centre.

1:00 PM – Drop off at camp

Participants flying to Boston should get to Hebrew College to get on the bus

Sunday, June 23, 2019 for Kerem


Cost: $145 one-way until May 1; $160 one-way after May 1

* Please note that we will only run this bus for a minimum of 14 participants. There will be NO staff member on this route.

Flying to Camp to Manchester Regional Airport (MHT)


Baltimore-Washington BWI

Campers should make every attempt to fly into Manchester Regional Airport via Southwest. Please note the following information is for those flying into Manchester:

  • Campers may fly as an unaccompanied minor.
  • Our staff will meet your camper at his/her flight. We will provide the staff member’s contact information in advance of his/her flight.
  • When making your reservation, call your airline and tell them a “Yavneh staff member” will be meeting the flight. You can then call later to provide specifics.

We understand that campers flying internationally and from other parts of the U.S. may have to fly into Logan Airport in Boston. While it is not our preference, we understand that sometimes this is the only flight available.

  • 6/25 arrive MHT 12:00 – 1:30 PM or arrive BOS 11:30 AM -12:30 PM
  • 7/21 depart MHT 10:30 – 11:30 AM or BOS 12:00 – 1:00 PM

Transportation fees

Transportation fees to and from the airport are as follows:

MHT $35 for the first camper in a family and $20 for each additional per ride
BOS $65 for the first camper in a family and $35 for each additional per ride
