Arrival, Departure and Visiting Day

Arrivals

Na’aleh

Transportation from Hebrew College will leave at 11 AM on Sunday, June 21, 2020. If you are driving your child to New Hampshire, you should arrive by 12:30 PM. We will communicate with all out of Boston families about transportation options to get them to Hebrew College.

Kerem

Arrive on June 21st between 11:00 AM and 12:30 PM.

Session 1, Full Season and Kaytana Aleph

Arrive on June 23rd between 3 and 4:00 PM. Please enter camp through the back gate on Lower Deerfield Road. Once you arrive, you will drop your camper’s luggage at the designated spot to be delivered to their bunk. Plan to arrive no later than 4:30 PM so you have time to go to your child’s bunk and help them set up. For new parents, there will be a tour of camp at 4:45 PM. All parents are asked to be out of the bunks by 5:00 PM.

Session 2 and Kaytana Bet

Arrive on July 20th between 3 and 4:30 PM. Please enter camp through the back gate on Lower Deerfield Road. Once you arrive, you will drop your camper’s luggage at the designated spot to be delivered to their bunk. Plan to arrive no later than 4:30 PM so you have time to go to your child’s bunk and help them set up. At 4:45 PM there is a guided tour of camp. All parents are asked to be out of the bunks by 5:00 PM. 

Camp provides bus transportation from the greater New York city area. Please watch your camp email in the spring for signup and fee information.

Camp provides pickup from Manchester, NH airport on opening day for a small fee. Transportation is also available from Logan airport in Boston, MA. Please watch your email for information about preferred flights and transportation signup.

Departures

Kaytana Aleph

Pick up for Kaytana Aleph campers is on July 5th between 10 and 11 AM. Please watch your email for information about where to pick up your campers.

Session 1

Pick up on July 19th between 9:30 and 10:30 AM. Please pick up your camper at the back gate on Lower Deerfield Rd. and pick up your camper’s luggage at the parking lot – be sure to check lost and found for any missing items. Once you pick up your camper’s luggage, proceed to their bunk where they will be waiting for you. Also, please have your camper confirm that you have all their luggage.

Kaytana Bet

Pick up on August 2nd between 10 and 11 AM. Please pick up your camper by the front entrance at 18 Lucas Pond Rd. You will meet your camper at the office and pick up their luggage there. The counselors will come by the office to say goodbye to the campers.

Session 2, Full Season Campers and Kerem

Pick up on August 12th between 9 and 10:00 AM. Please pick up your camper at the back gate on Lower Deerfield Rd. and pick up your camper’s luggage at the parking lot – be sure to check lost and found for any missing items. Once you pick up your camper’s luggage, proceed to their bunk where they will be waiting for you. Also, please have your camper confirm that you have all their luggage.

Visiting Day

Kayitz ’20

Visiting Day in Kayitz ’20 will be on Sunday, July 19th, 10-4:30 PM.

All madrichim (counselors) are in meetings in the afternoon, so full summer chanichim(campers), including Kerem, who need to be dropped off before 4:30 PM, will only be allowed to be in Beit Rachel. Chanichim returning after 4:30 OR parents that want to spend a bit more time with their camper in camp at the end of the day should return through the back gate on Lower Deerfield Road and park in the back field. Please note that no campers will be allowed back in the bunks until after 4:30 PM
