Beit Midrash Construction - בת מדרש

Beit Midrash comes to Camp Yavneh!

See construction pictures below of the beautiful new Beit Midrash/Community Center! This is a multi purpose building situated in a beautiful spot on a green field overlooking camp. The Beit Midrash is built with expansive windows and natural wood. We hope that this design will inspire our campers in their prayer and learning. A portion of the building is a teachers study (חדר מורים), where teachers can meet, study and learn with campers. This space contains book shelves and will be the new library at camp. The building also houses a new staff lounge. Our goal is to create a very comfortable space for our hard working counseling staff where they can relax with a games area, quiet reading area, computer space, TV watching area and kitchenette.

We hope and anticipate that this building will be an inspiration for prayer & learning and for contributing to Yavneh’s philosophy in a meaningful way.
