You will have a chance to live and work in an environment where people are strengthening their connection and commitment to the Jewish people and ways of life. Shabbat is a special time at camp and the staff enjoy it with the same intensity as the campers. Counselor / Rosh Ayda

Thank you for your interest in applying to work at Camp Yavneh for the upcoming season. The 2008 dates for summer employment including staff week are: June 15th-August 14th.

Please print out the forms and return them to the Camp Yavneh office as soon as possible. This summer, as usual, employment at Yavneh will have an educational component. ALL counselors and Roshes will be required to attend a 1-hour session on Shabbat concerning Issues in Jewish prayer and spirituality, as well as attendance at 3 onegei Shabbat.

The following papers need to be completed as part of the application process:

1. A staff application (self explanatory)
2. Two recommendation sheets to be given out to the people of your choice. One reference should include any experience you have had working with children.
3. An interest/skill sheet; please add any comments you would like about your skills and talents.
4. A form that asks you to fill out 5 questions so that we can see how thoughtful you are!
5. Staff salary sheet
