Camp Yavneh has many ways that you could assist us in our efforts to make Yavneh the special Jewish camp that it is. The following t'zedekah opportunities are available to you. In addition, if you have an idea of how or to what you would like to contribute please be in touch with me directly at Debbie@campyavneh.org. All donations will be acknowledged in our newsletters and of course by mail.

Scholarship

Camperships
Yavneh gives out over $60,000 in scholarship for camp. This allows children from all backgrounds the chance to experience a Yavneh summer.

Help participants afford the opportunity to participate in Yavneh's summer in Israel program.

Siddur donation
A beautiful plaque will be put in a Camp Yavneh siddur as you would like inscribed. This is a special way to commemorate a simcha or in memory of a loved one.
Donation: $36.00 per siddur

Special projects

We are about to reprint our camp siddur. This project will cost approximately $15,000. Any amount towards this will help.

Sponsorship of particular programs and events
The programs listed below are what makes Yavneh unique. If you underwrite one of these events your family's name will be associated with the program for this summer and mentioned in our camper newsletter, alumni newsletter, and at the event.

Ketsev: a traveling performance group of singing and dancing

Zimriyah: our own spirited, amazing song festival

Camp play: Every year something different and unique

Kerem play: put on by our CITs

Maccabiah: Color War! A five-day extravaganza that includes everything from sports to major performances in the arts

Scholar in Residence: Every summer we have visiting educators that interact and teach our campers on a variety of Jewish subjects
Artist in Residence: Everything from clay to painting, our artists are wonderful additions to the summer program

Major projects

Migrashai Sport campaign (the big dig) is the largest project ever undertaken by Camp. We will be replacing the septic system and sports fields at the end of the 2003 camp season. This project will cost approximately $750k. We have raised $500k so far. Your donation will help.
